Absent from AnthroCon

In what is becoming a familiar refrain in these spaces, I must regretfully announce that Heliopause will not be present at AnthroCon 2022. This decision was not taken lightly, and my sympathies are with the staff and attendees as they navigate a challenging event in even more challenging times. For the long story behind this decision (and it is not entirely COVID related!) please see this post.

For now, my hope is to have some originals and LE prints in the art show, thanks to the generosity of a kind friend who has agreed to agent for me.

Thanks go out to everyone who has purchased from the online shop, bought my books (from wherever), and subscribed to me on Patreon. You make it possible for me to continue to create new and inspiring works of art and fiction even in the most difficult of times.

Driving Arcana Wheel 3 Kickstarter

Exciting! Today we launched the Kickstarter campaign for Driving Arcana Wheel 3, Hope in the Forest of Despair! Whether you’re a fan of Arcana or just finding out about the story, this campaign is a great way to get introduced. Have a look!

You have until April 27th 11:00 AM Pacific to get your pledges in! Every little bit helps, and we also have some fantastic stretch goals planned. This campaign will hopefully fund the book in electronic, paperback and hardback formats, so there will be something for everyone. Also stickers.

And if you know anyone who likes urban fantasy, dark fantasy, or just fantasy with a healthy dose of science and humor, please send them over. While Driving Arcana has darker elements than Professor Odd or Bouragner Felpz, it can be enjoyed by young readers, too.

Welcome to the first Audio Special from Heliopause (or as we’ve been calling it: Heliopaudio. Get it?) We hope you like it!

“Abandon All ––––” first appeared in The Urban Green Man, edited by Adria Laycraft and Janice Blaine, EDGE Science Fiction and Fantasy, 2013. It also appears at the end of By Moon and Star, Driving Arcana Wheel 1, by Goldeen Ogawa, Heliopause Productions 2018. It takes place within the same universe as Driving Arcana and introduces two characters who will go on to make appearances in Wheel 2.
